Wenstel's Death

Wenstel tackled Heimlich off the edge of the building, sending both of them to their deaths. As they fell, Heimlich grabbed Wenstel and swung him toward the building, sending him crashing into a pane of glass and cracking it. Wenstel attempted to punch the Rat once, but his fist had barely landed on its target just as both hit a concrete parking lot. Even from the top of the building, Yellow Jacket and Illusion could tell that the bodies were in bad shape. A puddle of maroon red surrounded each one. Summer was the first to reach the bottom of the building, running to her dead boyfriend, sobbing his name over and over. "Wenstel? Wenstel???" He was obviously not alive, his neck bent in a way that a living human cannot mock. A few feet behind, a cough was heard. Summer whirled around to see Heimlich, and she walked over to him. He was not dead, but slowly choking on his own blood. And he was snickering, too. "What have you done???" She screamed. "What have you done to him???" The Rat looked at her and half-smiled, looking dazed. "I...I win." Yellow Jacket picked up one of Heimlich's knives. "No", she said. "I win." With this, she slit Heimlich's throat. At that moment, Illusion ran over. "Summer, are you okay? I'm sorry about Wenstel." "It's okay,"she said. "The Rat killed us all a little bit, on the inside." Yellow Jacket and Illusion began to walk off. "Hang on," said Summer. "I need to do something." She ran back to Wenstel's body, and tore the bat symbol from his costume. Then she ran back to Illusion, stuffing the emblem in her pocket with the simple fact that Red Bat was not dead. He was just beginning.

Wenstel's Death

I did find it a bit strange that Yellow Jacket is suddenly in her Red Bat uniform as she first sees Wenstel's body. This is purposeful, and it's not supposed to make sense. I wanted to draw her new costume and this scene at the same time, so I combined them.
